Koi Race Betting

Koi Race Betting is similar to Horse Race betting. You simply pick a Koi Fish # and wait to see if you picked the winning Fish.

Requirement:

• Hold a Yokai with a "Koi Fish" trait

• Holding a Gold Koi Fish gives you an extra submission to each race

How It Works:

• Before the race, you will pick a fish number that you think will win and submit your choice

• Watch the live stream of the Koi Race on Discord VC (takes place on a race timer website - results are randomized)

• Winners will be announced and prizes will be distributed

Example: The prize pool for a race is 5 SOL. There are 10 fishes racing against each other. Five holders choose Fish #5 before the race begins. After the race concludes, it turns out Fish #5 won, so the 5 SOL will be split amongst the 5 winners, with each winner taking home 1 SOL each!

Betting:

You can place a side bet to win more SOL. Send your bet to the community prize pool. The winner(s) will split the prize money from that pool. Note: 5% will be taken to fund the DAO wallet.

Example: 10 Holders send 0.5 SOL to the community prize pool. Prize pool = 4.75 SOL after 5% (0.25 SOL) fees are deducted. Let's say Fish #3 wins and 2 Holders picked Fish #3. They will then split the prize pool (4.75 / 2 = 2.37 SOL each).

If no one picked the winning fish, the prize pool moves over to the next race, which increases potential earnings for holders.
